HR professionals can enjoy the HRWest conference for free by joining our
Volunteer Program. Volunteers receive a free conference pass for
committing to a minimum of 8 hours in volunteer shifts during the course
of the conference.
This is a great option if the registration fee is over your budget, if
your company won’t support your attendance, or if you’d just
like to play a role in making the conference a success. It’s also
a great way to meet new HR friends.
You would be a part of a small group of committed volunteers that help
the event planning team keep the conference running smoothly. Our aim is
that volunteers sign up for 4- to 8-hour shifts.
Volunteers will help with badge checking, room monitoring, speaker
introductions, providing direction, roundtable management, and being
friendly faces around the event. You may attend any session on the
day(s) you volunteer, and all room attendants can watch the sessions in
the rooms they are monitoring.
Volunteers are required to attend an orientation session virtually prior
to the conference.
If you are interested in volunteering but can’t commit at this
time, please contact us to sign up as an alternate. You can be our first
call if anyone is unable to fulfill their duties.
