In recent years, HR has focused more on business ethics and corporate social responsibility (CSR), in part because they help determine whether younger talent will consider working for and staying with their organizations.
To learn more about HR’s role in these areas, the HR Research Institute conducted this major study. This webcast will highlight:
- the meaning and definition of both business ethics and CSR
- the degree to which HR professionals feel their organizations are both ethical and socially responsible
- the primary characteristics of ethical and socially responsible organizations, according to respondents
- the people most responsible for ethics and CSR
- the perceived benefits of ethical and socially responsible organizational behaviors
- the primary challenges to ethics and CSR
- HR’s roles in ethics and CSR
- the most common practices and initiatives in these areas
- the specific practices associated with success in these areas
- how employees get involved in CSR
We will not only explore these research questions but will provide ideas for strategies throughout the presentation, focusing on research insights and key takeaways. In addition, we will discuss the increasingly controversial topic of ESG and the role that politics and culture wars play in these areas.
In short, this presentation will be a snapshot of HR’s current role as it relates to business ethics and CSR, and it will share some ideas of where these issues are headed in the near future.
