    In classrooms, we teach reading, writing, and arithmetic, but leave solutions to the universal problems of human relations to be discovered, if at all, by trial and error. During the past 40 years, my life has improved in all areas because I tried to learn and use People Tools to build fulfilling relationships. They are useful for self-management, and in managing others to help us solve problems—from coping with anger and building self-esteem to enhancing communication with colleagues, friends, and family.
