Mumbai-based MSME-focused non-banking financial company Ashv Finance, part of Aavishkaar Group announced the appointment of Shri Radha Krishna Mathur as an Independent Director.
Shri R. K. Mathur is a distinguished professional who has served as the first Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, the Defence Secretary to the Government of India as well as Secretary of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of India. Mr. Mathur's proficiency extends to policy formulation and implementation, particularly in the realm of MSME industries, large industrial projects, and service industries. This broad spectrum of experience has been instrumental in his various leadership roles, including Chief Secretary of Tripura. Additionally, he has been at the helm as CMD, Chairman, Director of various public sector enterprises and societies.
Ashv Finance, which is spread across 180+ locations in India, has been focused in recent years in collaborations and co-lending partnerships with the aim of providing accessible finance to MSME businesses.

I have seen the MSME sector closely during my tenure as Secretary MSME with the Government of India, specifically when it came to their critical need for financing support.
