Evolve, the leading inclusive wellness platform, announces its upcoming workshop, “Thriving with Pride: A Workshop for LGBTQIA+ Professionals,” in collaboration with Interweave Consulting. This in-person event will take place on June 9, 2024, from 2:30 to 5:00 pm at the Bangalore International Centre, located at 7, 4th Main Rd, Stage 2, Domlur, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560071.
As part of Interweave Consulting’s Pride Month celebration event, Rainbow Tales, this dynamic workshop aims to empower LGBTQIA+ professionals by providing them with coaching, tools, and resources for career advancement, overcoming workplace barriers, networking, amplifying their authentic voices, and fostering an inclusive work environment. The workshop is designed for LGBTQIA+ professionals in all positions across various organizations, with no prerequisites or qualifications required to attend. Commenting on the scheduled workshop, Anshul Kamath, Founder of Evolve, stated, “This workshop has been tailored to address the profound challenges faced by the LGBTQIA+ community stemming from discrimination, microaggressions, and exclusionary practices, particularly in workplace settings. LGBTQIA+ individuals often face issues related to authenticity and acceptance at work, impacting their ability to be themselves. Studies confirm that 46% of LGBTQIA+ individuals have experienced unfair treatment at work, directly affecting their mental well-being. Additionally, 50% of LGBTQIA+ folks believe they are paid less than their non-LGBTQIA+ counterparts, hindering their growth.”

The workshop will feature esteemed speakers and facilitators, including Rohan Arora, Co-Founder of Evolve, an alum of BITS Pilani and IIM Ahmedabad with over 10 years of leadership experience at Fortune 500 companies; Anshul Kamath, Founder of Evolve, who has facilitated Mindfulness & Emotional Intelligence programs for thousands globally; and Richa Vashista, awarded the Most Prominent DEI Leader by World HRD Congress, with over 10 years of experience and personal insights as a queer and neurodivergent individual.
Evolve plans to conduct similar workshops and coaching programs in the future to support LGBTQIA+ employees and organizations, addressing pain points and helping them flourish at work and in society.
