A GE-spinoff professional services firm, Genpact delivers two comprehensive services for its clients. Running digital operations on behalf of their Fortune 1000 clients is one. The other is using data, technology, and artificial intelligence to help these clients improve upon these operations.

Amaresh leads this latter arm of Genpact’s services as strategic advisor for data and analytics, helping clients become more data-intelligent and more data-aware. He has been innovative in spearheading “Databridge,” the company’s ambitious internal data awareness program, which Amaresh believes may be the most extensive data-awareness program in the world. To date, a staggering 70,000 or so—more than half—of Genpact’s workforce has completed the associated certification program leaving them highly versed in understanding the tools to extract and blend enterprise data. Graduates of the program use their newfound knowledge and skills to help clients and, in the process, earn what is akin to a black belt in data awareness from Genpact.

Databridge empowers staff with the high-impact upskilling essential for their own success and for Genpact’s overall. On a recent episode of #HRTechChat (a 3Sixty Insights video podcast), Amaresh shared the philosophy behind his vision and delved into not only the thinking that has helped make it a reality at Genpact, but also the software that has helped with execution. A big part of the latter is EdCast, found in the Cornerstone suite (3Sixty Insights 3SIMA2234 – “Cornerstone’s Acquisition of EdCast Creates First Mature End-to-End Future-of-Work Learning Suite From a Single Vendor,” March 2022).
