    COVID INDUCED NEW NOW Shalby Multispecialty Hospitals organizes special HR Leadership Conclave in association with PeopleStrong and EY


    The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted organizations and changed the way people work across the world. When the pandemic began early last year there was chaos and uncertainty among employers as well as employees, with no clear idea of what was to follow. This then slowly gave rise to new way of functioning for organizations. The crisis has been a catalyst for human resource managers to think differently about their role.

    Shalby Multispecialty Hospitals, in collaboration with PeopleStrong and EY (Ernst & Young), recently organized a path breaking HR leadership conclave, with some of the most prominent HR leaders in the country in attendance. Top leaders in the world of HR from diverse industries such as healthcare, engineering, technology, education, and consulting, etc. shared their ideas at the conclave. The event also had a panel discussion, featuring lectures on prominent topics such as leaders’ role amidst the new normal, managing employee health amidst the pandemic, Talent Economy, and labour codes etc.

    The leadership conclave was attended by more than 100 HR heads and managers of the Ahmedabad corporate world. Focusing on the theme of HR Practices in the new normal, the power-packed program was filled with learnings and insights designed to empower and equip the HR leaders to think innovatively and to formulate and implement the best practices for the post-COVID workplace. Some of the issues that were also explored at the conclave included prioritizing the safety and wellness of employees amidst the pandemic, challenges in education in the new normal, and HR’s role in helping employees find the new work-life balance etc.
