“We are very excited for the rollout of Lancaster SHRM’s new brand, logo, and website. This has been an exhilarating journey for us as we examined our core focus and the impact we have on members, businesses, and the community,” says Harold G. Ford III, President of Lancaster SHRM. “Our new tagline ‘Inspiring People, Advancing Workplaces’ cuts to the mission and vision of our organization.”

The new logo represents how each employee in an organization can come together to create a successful workplace, with the HR professional highlighted as a symbol of inspiration and advancement to lead the organization forward. Through the resources and trainings that Lancaster SHRM provides, HR professionals can elevate their companies and collaborate with other employees to champion the highest standard of human resources. From C-level executives to entry-level employees, everyone can create an impact in their workplace.

Alongside the rebranding, Lancaster SHRM launched a new website and resource center for both paid and unpaid members. The user-friendly site allows members to post and search for jobs, schedule and sign up for training sessions, and access valuable resources as part of their membership.

According to Ford, “Lancaster SHRM is focused on the professional development of our members in order to advance the HR profession. At the same time, we are a partner to the business community to support their HR strategies and initiatives.”

By providing this digital resource hub to both paid and unpaid members, Lancaster SHRM hopes to empower employees to make businesses better from within. In addition to live trainings and resources, they will now be able to provide digital resources in a more accessible and flexible format.
