ADP recently shared an update with the industry analyst community highlighting ADP’s rapid reaction helping their clients in the early days of the global pandemic. ADP also shared how they are refocusing to help clients navigate the way forward with tools to assist a safe return to the workplace.
The depth and speed of ADP’s global response to COVID-19 related legislation is impressive, where not only did they help clients with staying compliant, but also made it much easier for them to navigate changes that affected them. As the world entered lockdown and companies either paused operations or shifted to work from home, governments around the world took action to provide relief.
In doing so, governments enacted new relief regulations such as the US FFCR and CARES Acts. ADP rapidly mobilized and rapidly deployed product updates to enable their clients. Within 3 days of the CARES Act passing, ADP had the small business PPP loan report live and the 401K opt-out option available. Since April, across ADP, up to 400,000 clients ran over 2 million reports for SBA loan applications. In addition, ADP also saw more than 200,000 unique loan forgiveness reports run across the 4 report types made available.
In addition to helping clients with compliance, ADP leveraged it’s strong product portfolio to provide value added solutions to help clients manage through the COVID-19 pandemic. ADP offered StandOut free of charge on extended trials. Additionally, ADP also worked with VoluteerSurge to provide the Workmarket platform to help onboard over 1K volunteers from 45 states, Canada and Mexico to help New York fight the COVID-19 virus as its infections peaked.
As organizations are starting to look forward and explore a return to the workplace, ADP has been working with their clients to help them navigate a safe return to the workplace. ADP is thinking about multiple elements; from communication to scheduling and attestations to managing onsite employees.
