- Leadership Expert to Present Focus15 Discussion About How Men Can Help Female Leaders Rise

The title of her Focus15 presentation will be “How Men Can Lean In To Help Women Rise.” “My career is dedicated to developing strong leaders with a particular focus on those who have a passion for helping women rise,” says Stefanie. “With only four percent of today’s C-Suite comprised of female executives, my talk will share inclusive ways to get men to lean in, provide access and sponsorship, and allow us to truly focus on the right person for the job.” As part of the Workplace track at this year’s SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, Stefanie’s talk is a mustattend for anyone interested in leadership, inclusivity in our organizations, and gender equality trends permeating today’s business world. She will discuss the positive and important impact that male leadership must play to help level the gendered divide and fix the broken rung in today’s workplaces. “To drive change, men with power must be part of the solution; yet, many are leaning out in the face of social movements, such as #MeToo, and understandably so,” Stefanie says. “I would like to provide prescriptive strategies to help men become better allies and feel comfortable addressing tough topics in order to resolve this inequality. Ultimately, everyone – including men – will benefit from these efforts.” At Vantage Leadership Consulting, Stefanie supports her clients with their leadership assessment and development efforts. Her work ranges from individual coaching and one-to-on executive coaching, to group facilitation, leadership workshops, and speaking engagements. Stefanie is also the founder of The Female Leader’s Edge, a unique online space centered around supporting, coaching, and elevating women across their life journeys, and specifically in leadership roles. As a researcher, Stefanie is passionate about examining the ways in which individuals can strive to achieve their desired work-life balance while succeeding in leadership positions. Stefanie earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Indiana University Northwest, her Master’s in IndustrialOrganizational Psychology at DePaul University, and is a PhD candidate at DePaul (June 2020).
