Arizona’s Leading Independent Investment Adviser Ranked Second for Firms with 50-99 Employees
PHOENIX (PRWEB) JANUARY 03, 2019
Phoenix-based MRA Associates, a leading independent investment and wealth management firm, was recognized on the prestigious national list of Best Places to Work in Money Management list by Pensions & Investments Magazine. MRA Associates ranked second out of all firms with 50-99 employees. This is the firm’s third consecutive year on the list.
Presented by Pensions & Investments, the global news source of money management, the seventh annual Best Places to Work in Money Management survey and recognition program is dedicated to identifying and recognizing the best employers in the money management industry. To participate, firms needed at least 20 employees in the U.S., at least $100 million of discretionary assets under management, and must have been in business for at least one year. This year, a record number of 69 firms were included in the 2018 list, with 19 firms named on the list of firms with 50-99 employees.
MRA Associates has placed a major focus over the past few years on grooming the next generation of leadership. In a recent interview, MRA Associates’ CEO and Managing Partner Mark Feldman talked about the firms’ Future Leaders Program to tutor future leaders and partners on how to be great leaders, as well as the rights, and responsibilities of ownership.
“We realized we needed to inject some young ownership, so we identified seven candidates who are being paired with mentor partners to learn the ropes. They are learning the importance of finding new clients and building on current relationships,” said Feldman.
Other perks that contributed to employees’ high rankings of employment at MRA Associates: a flexible work schedule including half day Fridays, the Community Gallery at MRA Associates featuring rotating art by local artists, an open office environment with standing desks, a fully stocked breakroom, multiple TV screens throughout the office, and more.
