1. Online Communication: As a recruiter, you post jobs on social media, recruitment communities to communicate with the candidates who are interested in your job post. So you have to represent yourself in a way everyone would love to be like. You are representing your company to the interested candidates. Try to be a perfectionist and error-free, that will help you to attract more talent to your job post. If you’re going to take the video interview, then try to speak slowly and clearly so the candidate can easily understand your questions.
2. Face to face meeting: This is a fantastic platform to show your excellent communication skills. There are a few things you should take care of while taking face to face interview.
. Always remain concentrated while candidates are answering your questions.
. Make eye contact with the candidate but don’t stare.
. Ask relevant questions that show you are interested in that candidate.
. Don’t interrupt while the candidate is answering your questions.

. Try to address candidate via his/her name sometime. It will help to improve the relationship.
3. Communicating on the phone: After face to face meeting; whenever you call the candidate, be the same person who was taking his/her interview. Try to be more positive while speaking on the phone so that the candidate feels comfortable. It will also help in making a good relationship with the candidate.
4. Communicating via email: Whenever you start your communication via email make it creatively. Make it personal via addressing candidate name. Avoid spelling and grammatical mistakes, keep it to the point. If you have to send a rejection email to the candidate, then try to write an encouraging email so that it does not let down the candidates' confidence.
5. Written Communication: As a recruiter, it is important because you have to write for job description, job ads, cover letters, job offer and also exchange emails. If you’re sending an offer letter to the candidate, try to be clear and precise. Make sure to include all the relevant details in the offer letter.
