Acquisition expands NFP’s P&C offerings in Northern California
NFP, a leading insurance broker and consultant that provides employee benefits, property & casualty (P&C), retirement and individual private client solutions, today announced that it has acquired Teifeld & Company Insurance Services, Inc. (Teifeld). The transaction closed on August 11, 2017.

Headquartered in San Jose, California, Teifeld is a full-service P&C insurance broker specializing in construction, property management, technology and nonprofit risks. Principal of the firm Dennis Teifeld will join NFP, continuing to advise current and new clients on their insurance programs as well as consulting for NFP, reporting to Paul Saich, Regional President of NFP’s West region.
