Watch Livestream Today at 2:00 pm ET
Today the Institute for Women’s Policy Research will host an afternoon research symposium to share new findings from a national survey of job training participants on access to supportive services—such as child care, transportation, and financial assistance—and their impact on program completion and success.
Two expert panels will reflect on challenges and opportunities for workforce development supports in the new political context and share strategies from workforce development programs around the country with innovative models for meeting key service needs. The research is part of IWPR’s Job Training Success Project, funded by the Walmart Foundation. View the Agenda.
