Professionals In Human Resources Association (PIHRA) is thrilled to announce its selection as a finalist for the 2015 SHRM Pinnacle Awards. The award is the highest achievement SHRM state councils and chapters can attain, and it honors programs that exceed the standard activities of SHRM affiliates in enhancing the creation of effective HR management. PIHRA was nominated for this prestigious honor due to its dedication to emerging HR professionals through the new PIHRA Young Professionals program.
“The launch of this program was a labor of love for all involved so it’s unbelievably exciting to have our efforts recognized by SHRM.” says Lili Arguello, the Membership Manager for PIHRA, who was instrumental in coordinating the new Young Professionals program.
Winners, who will each receive a $1,000 grant, will be announced Friday, November 20th during SHRM’s Volunteer Leaders’ Summit.
