There is no doubt that an onboarding process will enable your new hire to quickly acclimatize to the new company and job, meaning that they will become productive in a shorter amount of time. Following this, you can start to recoup your return on the substantial investment that you have made in hiring this new resource. The culture of your start up is very important and every employee should live and breathe it. Onboarding is a very important part of this, and although as a startup we all know there is not any cash to spare, this does not mean that you should skimp on onboarding. Here are some easy and relatively low cost, if not free, things you can do to make your new hire feel welcome:[/font]
