I am just sharing that I had read an article on the smartest thing some CEO's have done. I was expecting a very me me article and a few of the participants did just that...how they were so smart. However, there were a few that said the smartest thing they have done is let the people under them do their job. Instead of making all the typical changes to "improve" the atomosphere or bottom line, they kept silent and listened to what the employees were saying and the types of projects that the employees thought would help the companies. The CEO's did the opposite of what they would normally do and they all agreed that even though some of the items were not what they would of chosen to do...nor did the progress go as the CEO would of expected, most if not all made a big difference in the companies.
Trust in your people was the message. Most employees do care about their company and those that are milking or are non-productive will become very noticiable and thats where management has to step in and correct those issues.....
Just an insightful article.....have a good day!!
