Everyone has their theories of whether or not December 21st 2012 is the last day that this earth will be revolving. Can we be so quick to think such a thing? Or are we so naïve to think that we are far off the end of the world. Looking at the research that has been put into this specific topic, makes it sound like it is not the end of the world but the end of the world as we know it, but you can never be too sure.

He is not a believer in thinking that the world is going to end on the 21st of December, but he does believe that it is the end of the world as we know it. John is convinced that we are in for a whirlwind of disaster and chaos. “During this period of unrest and uncertainty we will become witnesses to a gathering storm of events that will slowly and systematically redefine our existence on this planet. These events will come in the form of both natural and manmade disasters as well as social, economic and religious upheavals, and will most definitely affect every living being on the planet.” John does not put it lightly when describing what he believes is going to happen and that whatever it may be that we have ahead it is going to affect all of us Scary thought isn’t it? John also continued in his article on how the world is going to start unraveling before our eyes. “As the days continue to countdown to Dec. 21 2012, we will begin to experience a number of natural disasters and unprecedented weather events such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, tsunamis, floods, droughts and many other extraordinary life threatening natural events. Although our planet has always experienced nature’s destructive wrath in one form or another, these disasters will become increasingly more frequent and significantly more intense than any we have ever experienced.” It seems that John has done his research and with the way we have been treating this earth it does not seem very far from the truth.

You cannot always believe everything you read on the internet, but if you don’t have much to go off of, it is wise to do further research and get a few other opinions. Writer for lifexpert.com gives a different approach to the warning of “the end of the world.” They give different explanations of the evidence of different calendars that say the world is ending on 12/21/12, which John also did, but instead of making a panic about it, lifexpert.com also states; “what is nothing happens at all? And the whole thing is just a big scam?” They made a great point about how the panic of the people is due to mass hysteria, and making people think if everyone else is freaking out about it, why shouldn’t I? Thinking that way about it, can lead people to driving themselves completely insane. Another valid point made by lifexpert.com is that in most cases people are afraid of the unknown. Without knowing what is going to happen can put people in utter panic.

This particular topic is one that is up in the air, and you can’t be too sure until 12/21/2012 actually comes along. The best policy for this type of situation is to expect the worst and hope for the best. Without doing that you will be lost in your thoughts of what might happen, and only the future knows what the future holds.
