The Human Capital Institute (HCI), the global association for strategic talent management, will hold a Strategic Talent Acquisition Executive Forum at the Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco on December 6, 2012. This one-day event will be an opportunity for a select group of talent acquisition leaders to discuss new paradigms in the field, as well as hear from four keynote speakers about leading edge practices in attracting and retaining talent.
Chris Hoyt, Talent Engagement and Marketing Leader for Pepsico, will serve as conference chairman. The topics under discussion will include: tactics for growth in a competitive talent market; optimizing the talent acquisition department; bold, aggressive and risky recruiting; and the role talent acquisition should play in strategic workforce planning. Among those designated to speak are Sarah Tilley, Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Global Mobility for the Walt Disney Company Corporate; Lacey All, Director of Strategic Talent Initiatives for Starbucks Coffee Company; Dr. John Sullivan, CEO of Dr. John Sullivan & Associates; and Aaron Steinberger, Director of Talent at Zynga.
