Growth in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) careers is outpacing that of all other jobs, and this trend is expected to continue well into the next decade. On top of this, STEM-qualified workers earn significantly more on average and are less vulnerable to unemployment than their non-STEM colleagues.
