It’s our statute to return back the items of passengers which they forget to carry or lost at our Terminal premises / buses as it also set good impact among our valuable passengers as well as it makes our services more reliable.
In this regard a detailed and comprehensive policy required to maintain the accurate data / record of lost items and make it sure to handover the lost items to whom it belongs.
Following procedure will be adopted in case of any lost item found in Terminal / Workshop premises;

Whenever an Employee will find anything in Terminal / Workshop premises then he will submit that found item to Terminal Office within no time.
Terminal Staff, after properly investigation, will mention the details of lost item in lost & found items register and keep the same at a safe place.
If nobody reports / claims for lost item within a week then lost items will be dispatched to In-charge Cash Management Department. However Terminal Staff will maintain complete data and submit the same along with lost items.
Cash Management Department, after collecting the lost items, will maintain the Terminal wise data and keep all lost items in their custody for further three months.
If nobody reports / claims for lost items within stipulated period (i.e three months) then lost items should be sold out with the consent of following committee;
In-charge HR
In-charge CMT
In-charge Operations

This committee will work under the kind supervision of General Manager.
Depositor will be rewarded through incentive / appreciation (as desired by the Management) according to the worth of deposited item to set example / motivate other employees.
If somebody reports / claims within seven days then Terminal Staff will follow the same procedure to handover the lost item as Para No. 08.
If anybody reports / claims for his / her lost item within three months then Terminal Staff will contact with the Cash Management Department, who will further send the same item at Terminal where the lost item will be handed over to concerned person after proper identification / verification and visual record with the compliments of the recipient. However Terminal Staff will send report along with receiving of lost item to the Cash Management Department.
Terminal Staff will properly maintain the lost and found items record and will submit it to concerned department on weekly basis.
