Workforce Management Solutions (WFM) include the technology and software applications used to manage time, attendance, staff scheduling, absences (e.g., vacation / sick time) and leave management (e.g., family medical leave-FMLA). In addition, the solutions provide time clocks, scanners and other devices to track time worked and projects completed (e.g., the ability to monitor tasks / projects and assign new ones). The applications also offer labor forecasting and budgeting capabilities as well as mobile technology to support workforce management workflows.
