There's a trend nowadays of companies wanting to keep jobs onshore and to reduce the rate of outsourcing operations to foreign countries. This trend is known as “homeshoring,” and allows companies to contract out services to workers based in their own homes. The fact that they don't have to worry about the cost of physical office space and equipment reduces the cost for companies and home-based workers.
In the UK, however, there is a different approach. Prime Minister David Cameron announced in March that the British people must embrace its entrepreneurs, as that's the only strategy for growth, and that the upcoming budget would be the "most pro-growth this country has seen for a generation."
All this in the wake of drastic government cuts, the loss of government jobs, and no money left in the government coffers. Cameron said the country must make it easier for businesses to "grow, to invest, and to take people on." He said there is too much red tape that gets in the way of business creation, and that we should back everyone who wants to create jobs, wealth, and opportunity.
But Cameron's opponents say that he offers nothing but empty words and no action.
