There is a point beyond which action and thinking is mutually exclusive. Beyond this point action is performed mechanically, without thought.
This point is very quickly reached; most people are already there early in the morning, when they routinely multitask. You can see it in the expressionless eyes, recognize it in the 5 second attention spans, in the communications style that resembles that of a 2 or a senile 92 year old.
This is not good.
Ideally the amount of action should never extend the context of thought.
When action is within context, we call it an act. Conscious, powerful, dynamic.
