NHS recommended investment in employee benefits for wellbeing
The NHS will need to invest in its employee benefits if it is to improve patient care in the long run, according to a recent report into staff standards. In a government-led interim report led by occupational health specialist Dr Steve Boorman, staff with the organisation are struggling to meet demands due to ill health, which may have links to the nature of the work they are engaged in.
