This proven concept, first conducted by Prudential Relocation in 2003 and again in 2005, is designed to identify the most important issues that affect the industry and offer solutions from which we can benefit. Using a proven focus group methodology, the Trend Inventory helps identify four key types of trends including boundary, emerging, established, and waning. These are issues by which the relocation industry has been, is being or will be affected.

There are many factors that can influence trends in any given industry. Focus group participants were asked their opinion on the specific influences that directly affect trends within the relocation industry.
