While conducting research for a webcast on the topic of best practice interviewing techniques, I came across a list of Red Flags (courtesy of Tech Republic) that interviewers should be aware of. The lesson here is that interviewers should focus on uncovering "evidence" of a candidate´s success.
7 Interview Red Flags
1) Candidate is big on adjectives but can´t back them up
2) Your questions take the candidate by surprise
3) Candidate has no "weaknesses"?
4) Candidate can´t tell you the most crucial function of his job
5) Interviewee says her present company "offers no room for growth"
6) Candidate can´t articulate why he wants to work for your company
7) Candidate´s references can´t offer specific details on job performance
