The U.S. Department of Labor announced the creation of an Internet-based job bank, the Katrina Recovery Job Connection Site. http://www.jobsearch.org/katrinajobs This site connects individuals who have been affected and are looking for work either in hurricane impacted areas or elsewhere. Jobs are permanent or focused on clean up and recovery efforts.
