According to a Gartner survey, over half of CHROs reported the shortage of critical talent as the number one trend impacting organizations, yet only 19% said their organization is prepared to bridge the gap. At the same time, as the pace of digital transformation continues across the enterprise, companies are also working to ensure that the right technology and tools are in place to remain competitive.

While, the former seems to be more of an HR concern and the latter that of the IT, it can cause tension between the two departments if not addressed on time.
