There is no denial about the fact that a great workplace culture leads to a healthy organization. It is not always about the pay or perks or your great designation. Because, despite all of these, if you are hooked up to a toxic workspace, you are doomed. Does your company promote a positive work culture?

Culture bolsters a firm’s strategic goals and well-being, and is a proven driver of better performance and growth. There are plenty of reasons why good work culture should be treated as one of your organization’s most precious assets. Paul M. Mastrangelo’s article, A Good Workplace Culture Is Like Money In The Bank, is all about that.

Most leaders are intent on shaping a constructive, collaborative and innovative workplace; however, accomplishing this eludes most. Read Magi Graziano’s article, 8 Steps To Transform Your Corporate Culture, for more insights on this topic.

The phrase “teamwork makes the dream work” gets thrown around a lot these days. However, stop and consider where you would be without a team around you, especially an engaged, collaborative group of people on whom you can rely. When you find yourself stuck or needing a fresh perspective, involve the people around you because together you are stronger, smarter and savvier. Read Roger Wolkoff’s article, Great Teams Deliver, for more insights on working together as a team.

Leadership by fear is a sure way to turn a thriving business into ashes. Focusing on behavior that builds strong organizations and behavior that causes predictable problems is the first step in transforming an organization from fear to respect. Read Dianne Crampton’s article, Leading By Fear, where she points out the example of leadership in Game Of Thrones and the message it implies.

This is just a sneak peek into what we have in this edition of Leadership Excellence. We hope you enjoy reading all articles and look forward to hearing from you!

Last but not least, we believe that there is no better way to connect with people than by sharing your leadership story. If you have one, send it to us and don’t forget to email us your feedback.  Continue leading the way for more leaders!
