Over the past few years, adoption of training strategies has transformed from traditional classrooms to augmented reality, video-based learning, game-based learning and more. With technological innovations, the entertainment factor has also set strong footholds while imparting corporate training.

The trend of Netflixing is all around and has become one of the most popular platforms that serve entertainment at the point of need. Modern learners too always seek new information, whenever and wherever they want it.

Wondering how Netflixing - a popular streaming TV network is related to workplace training?

Well, Netflixing in e-learning is the latest buzz and is here to stay.

Anubha Goal in her article Netflix-Like eLearning Strategy For Modern Workforce Training, featured as the cover article, talks about how a Netflix-like training will help the overall learner engagement and knowledge retention, thereby affecting the bottom line.

Learning and development (L&D) is one of the most critical functions in an organization pivotal to its sustenance and growth.

While there are a number of ways in which companies can make L&D programs a resounding success, there’s always a room for betterment.

It’s no surprise then that many companies are now considering customizing their L&D programs for millennials as these 22-37 year olds are set to make up 35% of the world’s workforce by 2020, according to experts.

Check out Amit Gautam's article L&D Lessons From The World’s Leading Organizations, where he lists down the new approaches and strategies that top companies such as Google, Facebook, Apple and Amazon, along with regional players like Manzanillo International Terminal -Panama (MIT PAN) and InsuranceAcademy.Me, are toying with to deliver next-level L&D programs to their employees in the coming years.

Moving on there is 7 Practices You Can Use To Create A Learning Culture by Ashley Munday that talks about how to foster a learning culture that motivates employees.
