Time is what we want most, but what we use worst - William Penn

In today’s mad rush of competition and success, we have less or no time to enjoy the beauty of simple things in life. We don’t have time for food, leisure, family or anything that keeps us away from work. Do we call it life? Why do we need such a colorless life? It is high time that we organize ourselves before it is too late.

If you want to live in the present, you will have to organize your time. Most people manage their time by treating each of their priorities as if they have an equal weight. When you are developing your time management strategy, you need to break your time down into three different categories. Read our cover article by Jill J. Johnson, Moments Matter, to know how different time categories impact your productivity and daily focus.

Leisure, as a concept for many career professionals is on the rocks. Is your leisure squeezed between turbulent activities? To know more about how to make sensible choices regarding what to ignore and what merits your attention, read Jeff Davidson’s article, Leisure Matters.

Are you afraid to fail? If so, your fear of failure is likely to limit your chances of success. If you look at really successful people, you will often find significant failures in their backgrounds. Read John Tschohl’s article, Fear Of Failure for more insights on risking failure to achieve great success.

Need more control of your life? The future? There are few aspects of our life and future we can control. Read Tim Connor’s article, The Idol Of Certainity for more insights.

What’s your ambition in life? What do you hope to achieve in the next five to ten years? Ambition is the strong desire to do or achieve something. It should inspire the ideas you conceive and the things you attempt. Read Vivan J. Thomas’ article, The ‘Circle of Ambition’, to know how ambition can guide your concerns and what you influence/control.
