Employment continued to fall once again though in the highly cyclical construction (6.61%) and wholesale and retail trade (5.38%) sectors. This was offset by employment growth in finance (4.65%) and community services, including government (3.21%).

It's no secret that companies everywhere have been outsourcing to save money. But what of human resources functions? Would you outsource those, and what would be your main reasons? According to a survey conducted by the Institute for Corporate Productivity, the top two reasons for companies outsourcing their human resources functions was to cut costs and to standardize processes to make things easier.
