Eighty-six percent of organizations use contingent workers, yet contingent workers only make up a minority of the overall workforce.
Just 20% indicate that their contingent spending decreased over the past two years while about double (39%) say their spending increased and 42% say it stayed the same.
Only 33% describe their ability to manage contingent workers as top-notch, while most (64%) indicate they are “okay,” suggesting wide-spread mediocrity in this area.
