Enhancing the employee experience is seen as the most important initiative for achieving critical business goals over the next two years
When asked about which initiatives HR should focus on over the next two years in order to help their organizations achieve “critical business goals,” HR professionals make four top picks: ● enhance the employee experience ● create workforces that are agile and can respond quickly to change ● build a strong leadership pipeline ● improve employee well-being. Enhancing the employee experience is chosen by half of the respondents (50%) and bears testament to organizations’ commitment to creating a more employee-friendly workplace.
The biggest skill gap between importance and current proficiency is in recruiting high-quality talent
We asked participants about how important various HR abilities will be in the near future and how proficient HR is at the moment. We found gaps between the percentage who claim a skill is “important” or “essential” and the percentage who gauge their department as “proficient” or “highly proficient.”The biggest gap between importance and current proficiency is in “recruiting high-quality talent,” which amounts to a gap of 35 percentage points.
