More and more organizations are embracing video technology, especially for recruitment purposes. Some are on the cutting edge of the trend. They not only use dedicated interviewing platforms but increasingly leverage platforms that perform a range of tasks in addition to video. This study explores these trends in detail. HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE RESEARCH:
Among organizations of all sizes, just over half use some form of video interviewing. Among larger firms (1000 or more employees), the proportion rises to 62%. Among small firms (with less than 100 employees), the proportion is 36%.
The most common feature available in video interviewing technology is multi-panel evaluation (52%) Among organizations with dedicated systems, about half include multi-panel evaluations. This allows a number of different people to watch or participate in the same interview.
