There’s no doubt that video interviewing is fascinating, but is it a technology for the future or something ready to be deployed today? We can now answer that question thanks to this survey conducted by HR.com of nearly 2,000 HR professionals.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE RESEARCH:
There are three approaches to video interviewing:
- Use a dedicated video interviewing platform
- Use a free service like Skype
- Do not use video interviewing
The survey found hiring managers are very happy with video interviewing; 47% were satisfied and 37% very satisfied, for a decisive 84% approval rating. In fact, only 4% didn’t like it.
The survey showed video interviewing can pay off in three areas.
