A successful learning centred organization will always have a long-term learning plan for their employees. To sustain the learning process throughout the year with an objective of transforming behaviours, performance and improved results will require a learning campaign.
A learning campaign can be interventions, re-enforcements, practice sessions or could be very creative posters, or any other display material that keeps learning at the top of the mind for the learners.
WE at Swift Solution developed yearlong learning campaign for a leading global bank also for one of the largest automobile manufacturer and some of takes for creating a successful learning campaign is to put people at the core of learning process and get a learner view of workplace keeping the customer as the focal point.
Here are some of our observations:
-
Get into Learners Shoes
Usually all the training requirements are finalized in an adhoc manner and most of the times as reaction to an impending technology update, compliance or any other immediate knee jerk reaction. But to create a top-rated learning campaign you should think, act and experience the learner you are focussing on and understand the challenges and day to day experiences of learners.
At one of our customer places we created a script based on detailed study we did on the conversations around a learning program and created a learning campaign video with the learners as the lead actors.
Removing any barrier that impede learning process and leadership support and continuous motivation and key to result oriented learning program.

Plugging the Knowledge Gaps
Once you get into the leaners shoes you will know what knowledge is needed to perform well on job and interventions that are needed. Facilitating a learners meet to understand the best and worst possible outcomes of a situation or problem will be useful to identify the skill gaps and deliver training content to fill the gaps.
-
Have a Long-term Plan
Any exercise that involves change in the behaviour of the learner must be a long term sustained learning plan. If you are targeting large scale training programs, then learning campaigns must focus on supporting the learning activity and reinforce the training elements where ever necessary.
Some of our learning campaign strategies along with the learning program execution lasted for a year or more to see meaningful and impactful results.

Data is the New King
Finally, after all this you need data to prove that the learning campaign was successful and positively impacted the performance of the user. For a leading bank contact centre, we developed learning programs and used a call rating system within the department and simulated calls to monitor the call conversation quality and observed their improvements over a period of time.
