    Q: Tell us the story behind the company. What led you to start it?

    Ravi: The idea of TaskHuman started long before it was incorporated in 2017, and the app was built and launched in app stores in September 2018.

    The problem that existed is that no amount of generic articles or watching pre-recorded videos replaced a real person with experience in that area. Creating TaskHuman was our response to solve just that. TaskHuman organizes the world’s human expertise and makes it instantly available to you via video call.

    We started by offering foundational needs, including health and wellness, physical fitness, mental, spiritual, emotional well-being, and more. Since then, we’ve continued to expand and support the entire needs of an individual for personal and professional growth, like financial well-being, sales and leadership coaching, pet training, travel planning, and nearly 1,000 other aspects of daily life.

    Our goal is to help billions of people discover, connect and help each other 1:1 via video call.

    Q: Tell us more about the company and its products.

    Ravi: TaskHuman is a real-time digital coaching platform, allowing users to amplify their daily work and personal life with 1:1 personalized guidance from LIVE specialists over a video call. With TaskHuman, users can instantly discover and connect with the world’s most comprehensive global network of coaches, instructors, and specialists covering nearly 1,000 aspects of your well-being, such as physical fitness, mental well-being, spiritual, emotional, financial, career and leadership coaching, and more. With this platform, users can focus on self-care anytime — privately and cost-effectively.

    Q: What are the new trends that you see in the HR market, where you could be catering to?

    Ravi: Companies have always chosen what areas of their employees’ personal life they have gotten themselves involved in, with the main investment typically in traditional fitness. With the employee landscape changing, people working remotely, and working hours being more fluid - there is a shift from work-life balance to work-life integration.

    The trends of remote work, global equity, other life pressures, diversity and inclusion initiatives, mental health, and overall employee well-being are at the forefront of employee recruitment, retention, and engagement. These initiatives are only successful when the employer assumes responsibility for multiple aspects of an employee’s life, in both their work and personal life. As people struggle with these types of integrations, we find that TaskHuman is able to support employees' work and personal life in a way that supports each unique individual no matter where in the world they are.

    Finally, TaskHuman offers companies a comprehensive, global, and equitable benefit that does not leave out large portions of their employee populations. For us at TaskHuman, it is a joy to be able to serve these employees in a holistic sense.

    Q: What improvement are you planning to your platform?

    Ravi: Our product is constantly evolving to support consumers and corporate feedback. As a product, we are continuously building out new topics for users to explore to help amplify their daily work and personal lives over 1:1 video calls in every facet they may need.

    We have strengthened our offering recently with the newest additions of travel and leadership coaching. As we continue to grow, we are adding additional functionality, personalization, and more ways to engage in-app for our users.

    Q: Could you please share a case study?

    Ravi: When the Covid-19 pandemic rocked the world in 2020, HR leaders on the BTS, a global professional services firm headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, team knew they needed to provide a comprehensive and accessible tool that could help employees focus on their wellbeing during this unprecedented time. BTS consultants were used to working with their teams and clients in person and were now having to adjust to not only a 100% virtual work environment, but a time when work and life were intertwined like never before

    BTS launched TaskHuman to 400 U.S. employees in August 2020, due to the accessibility, comprehensiveness, and personalization that it offered. This new solution provided employees with unlimited 1:1 support from live wellness coaches through video calls at the time and place that worked best for them.

    Q: What are the market pain points that you address?

    Ravi: Skimming through generic articles and videos has left consumers feeling confused and overwhelmed. When we need it, we all want help instantly, with our current goals and needs in mind.

    TaskHuman offers personalized 1:1 LIVE guidance from thousands of specialists via video call, not only on wellness, but well-being, professional growth, life skills, life advice, and nearly 1000 additional aspects of daily work and personal life. Users can build their dream team with a global and diverse network of specialists 24/7 right at their fingertips.

    For our corporate clients, this solves huge equity and cultural issues as it relates to employee benefits.
