    Trust In The Workplace: More than 1/3 of workers don’t trust their immediate supervisors: Survey

    Waggl’s latest Voice of the Workplace research indicates that there is ample room for improvement in management relationships with employees. In a pulse survey conducted with hundreds of US-based business and HR representatives from November 2016-January 2017, 37% percent said that they do not trust their immediate supervisor to make decisions with their best interest in mind. By way of contrast, 76% percent of the participants said that they trust their co-workers to follow through on their responsibilities and to keep the team’s best interests in mind; and 84% percent said that they trust and believe in the missions of their organizations.

    According to a study from National Retail Federation (NRF), retail supports 42 million jobs, provides $1.6 trillion in labor income and contributes $2.6 trillion annually to U.S. GDP.
