    Do you remember this line from the movie, “A Few Good Men”? Jack Nicholson told Tom Cruise that average folk couldn’t deal with the harsher facts of life, so as a result higher ups would tell them what they wanted to hear. They would offer excuses, clever verbal hedges that sidestepped reality and offered the illusion of comfort.

    Engaging Technology To Encourage Employee Voice: Leveraging surveys to improve the workplace

    Most organizations know that their most valuable asset is their employees. However, it’s one thing to say employees are valued, and it’s another to do something that shows employees you mean it. An organization that values “employee voice” is one where employees are encouraged to share their concerns, ideas and suggestions for improvement.
