The problem with employee well-being strategies today is that many are half-hearted and short-sighted. They aren’t focused on what’s important -- the employee. It’s often just a box companies have to check off; a benefit to add to job postings to attract candidates.

Executives can develop a shared vision and improve relationships with employees; concentrate on identifying employee’s individual needs and empowering employees to build a learning climate and mobilize their support toward goals at the organizational level; propel knowledge and experience sharing in organizations to generate more innovative ideas and solutions; and focus on inspiring human assets, thereby setting a higher level of desired expectations for them.
