    4 Essential Traits of Exceptionally Successful Entrepreneurs

    We’ve all heard the stories about successful women entrepreneurs who started with nothing but an idea. They might have worked out of their parents' garage or created their enterprise from nothing but a strong work ethic.
     


    However, some people point to these examples as if they're something anyone can do.
     
    Yet the truth is that there are some crucial traits you must have in order to be an exceptionally successful network marketer. 

    Trait #1: Integrity

    We’ve all heard the stories about entrepreneurs who are cutthroat and awful (cough, Steve Jobs, cough). And yes, those qualities do make for great drama, if not always a success.
     
    Yet contrary to that stereotype, a lack of integrity may be the most detrimental quality to you as a women entrepreneur.
     
    For example, when you're pursuing your own business venture, your integrity can help you win over valuable allies and lifelong loyalty.
     
    However, if you're less than scrupulous in your business dealings, influential people will tend to steer clear of you. Of course, that should be a secondary reason for always behaving ethically, but it is a good reason.
     
    As Warren Buffet famously said, “It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you’ll do things differently.” 

    Trait #2: Intuition

    In 1995, I could have gone to any Ivy League college, yet I decided to attend a small liberal arts college in Amherst, Massachusetts. For a while, I questioned my decision.
     
    Then one night in October 1997, I attended a seminar and had a life-changing epiphany. That single action led to launching my company SuccessClinic.com in my college dorm room and has since enabled me to touch hundreds of thousands of lives and help my clients make hundreds of millions of dollars.
     
    Yes, there’s a lot to be said for trusting your gut instincts.
     
    Everyone has intuition, yet many women entrepreneurs overlook their gut instinct and rely on statistics or other evidence. Pay heed to what your instincts tell you and add that information into the decision-making process. 

    Trait #3: Love of Learning

    To be a successful women entrepreneur, you’ll need many different skill sets. That’s why exceptionally successful women entrepreneurs are lifelong learners.
     
    For example, business is constantly evolving, which means you must keep learning in order for your business to blossom and evolve.
     
    If you don't love to grow intellectually, if you see your career path as having a finite destination, entrepreneurship might not be for you. That’s because true success comes from setting goals, reaching them, and then setting loftier goals.  

    Trait #4: Partnership and Team Building

    Even if you were the best at every single area, you couldn't complete all of the work it takes to run a successful network marketing business on your own.
     
    That’s why exceptionally successful women entrepreneurs know that they need to delegate and partner with other people who are also brilliant at what they do.
     
    No one does it alone. When you look at most big things that get done in the world, they're not done by one person, so you're going to need to build a team. You're going to need people that have complementary skills. No matter how talented you are, there are just going to be things that you don't bring to the table.
     
    I’ll bet that you already possess several of these traits already, or you wouldn’t be reading this right now.
     
    Therefore, leverage your strengths and keep doing what you’re already good at. Then keep improving the traits that might need a little polishing, and use them as building blocks for your own entrepreneurial success story!
