TRUST: The one thing that changes everything!

There is one thing that is common to every individual, relationship, family, team, organization or economy. If you remove that thing, it will destroy everything. On the other hand, if developed and leveraged, that one thing has the potential to create unparalleled success and prosperity in every dimension of life. Unfortunately, that one thing is the least understood, most neglected and most underestimated possibility of our times. That one thing is TRUST.

What Is The Hiring Interviewer Thinking?: 10 clues for you

If the interviewer says he "could go on talking with you all day," but his feet are pointed toward the door, he’s really telling you that he is finished with the interview. If someone is sitting with ankles crossed and legs stretched forward, they are probably feeling positively toward you. But when you see feet pulled away from you or wrapped in a tight ankle lock or wrapped around the legs of a chair, you would be wise to suspect withdrawal and disengagement. And if they are pointed at the exit, it’s a sure signal they are ready to be elsewhere.

The Money Shortage Myth: Control your money before it takes control of you

Experts tell us that the number one cause of divorce, domestic abuse, suicide, and stress in our society today stems from money shortages. As a blind person myself who started my business and financial life with less than nothing, I understand this dynamic; however, as a long-term chronic condition, I do not believe in the concept of a money shortage. Money is not a cause. It’s a result.

A Broken Clock Is Right Twice A Day: How to work with a coworker who always has to be right

Ever worked with a coworker who consistently needed to be right? Even when shown clear evidence to the contrary, some people cannot admit when they’re wrong. Simply put, working with that type of person is not fun.

What Are Your Weaknesses?: Responding to this question in an interview

As a human resource recruitment professional, I like to ask this interviewing question to see how the candidate responds verbally as well as the physical gestures that will be displayed. Candidates have responded by saying “I am too anal and want things done my way”, “I am too hard on myself”, “I try to help everybody get their work done”,“I don’t take a lunch to make sure I get my work done”, just to name a few. Are these responses really considered as weaknesses?

Posing Your Body To Change Your Mind: Your body is listening to you

I am currently taking another workshop on the brain and learning new tips on how to create sustainable change in the mind. As we increase our ability to think about thinking (meta-cognition) we are given the opportunity to jump in and shift the serpents fear, self-doubt and worry into a place of positivism...or not. Your body can actually change your mind. Science shows that certain Power Poses can increase testosterone and decrease the stress hormone. Amy Cuddy, a researcher at Harvard University, studies how certain poses of the body can trigger hormone shifts in the mind.
