    Your Best Work: Avoid seven deadly sins

    No one aspires to mediocrity. You won’t see a poster on an office wall—unless it’s there ironically—encouraging people to shoot for the middle of the pack. We all aspire to create something valuable, to make a contribution, and to operate in our sweet spot. However, sheer determination to do great work is insufficient. It’s easy to muster up the willpower to attack your objectives, but that doesn’t mean that your objectives are correct or that you are making meaningful progress on the work that matters to you.
