Security Screening: Time is not compensable

The US Supreme Court ruled recently, in a unanimous decision, that the time employees spend waiting in line to pass through security screening checks after clocking out, but before leaving the workplace, is not “work time”, and is therefore not compensable under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
