    Antitrust Laws: Can you enter into agreements not to compete with other businesses?

    What if you wanted to be more proactive? What if you and one or more of your competitors wanted to head off such issues and instead you enter into an agreement that you will not solicit or hire each other’s employees (“non-poaching”, non-solicitation or “no-hire” agreements). What if you want to gofurther and agree to salary amounts and ranges so that employees are not tempted to leave you in the lurch? Better not.

    The Hostile Work Environment: The costs and mitigation

    We have all experienced that manager or coworker who agitate us. It can be difficult to objectively look at the situation and decide if they are just being rude or actually being hostile. Although many workers feel that they are victims of a hostile environment, it is important to note that there is a legal definition of such an environment.
