HR management falls into the functions of management and is at the core of being a great manager. Without great HR skills a manager is stagnant only concerned for the status-quo, and cannot make required changes to attain their organizational goals.
HR managers can dramatically affect the way a company its functions, and make a fundamental change in the processes by which a company serve its clients. HR managers can in fact create a more effective organization built upon three primary principles, which are reflected as focusing on people, continuing to fundamentally change, and by illustrating management as a process in which every employee can participate. They can build a highly effective organization through taking a change-oriented approach, which highly manifested itself in changing the face of HR within organization.
In the absence of effective HR management, companies lose the required direction to achieve a high degree of competitiveness, and cannot effectively implement HR technologies in order to adapt to today’s uncertain business environment.
HR managers play a critical role in facilitating HR technologies. Today, technology has changed the business world ten-fold. Every day there is an easier way to process, access, and disseminate information. HR managers can build knowledge-based organizations and can implement innovations timely as they operate and compete in global markets. HR managers can in fact assist CEOs in developing their communications between line managers and employees.
Coaching and training from HR department can play a critical role in improving organizational communications. Thus, HR managers can also successfully contribute to companies to develop communications. HR managers, therefore, can be considered as important facilitators of HRIS (Human Resource Information System), which enhances interactions among organizational members and departments, and develops and disseminates information throughout the organization which, in turn plays a critical role in improving the search for information.
HRIS in fact constitutes the basics of a supportive workplace to develop organizational knowledge. Herein, HR managers can play a crucial role in facilitating HRIS, which in turn facilitates organizational communications and knowledge transference around the company.
HR managers are also those managers who can facilitate the vertically and horizontally exchanging information, through organizing seminars and conferences to create a learning workplace and disseminate knowledge around the company. HR managers can in fact facilitate HRMS to provide the ways to enhance interactions among members and departments, and eliminate the barriers of communications while improving the extent of information sharing and access for all employees at various levels of the organization.
Ergo, HR managers facilitate HRMS to enable interactions and subsequently provide more comprehensive and effective solutions to solve organizational problems. HR managers also use effective HR policies to develop a collaborative culture that potentially provides a significant contribution to new ideas generation and new knowledge acquisition.
In doing this, HR managers can effectively facilitate HCM (Human Capital Management) to enact HR business processes and coordinate intellectual capital within organizations. This software can, in fact, allow HR managers to meet the determined milestones and subsequently stimulate new ideas and knowledge generation to achieve organizational goals.
In conclusion, HR managers can play a crucial role in facilitating the effectiveness of HR technologies, which in turn propel new ideas and solutions to generate store and retrieve information within companies.
