Your article is great but the situation in Ghana and most African countries is totally different and "myriadious". First, public servants on high management levels refuse to go on annual leave and also demand no payment for deferred leaves. Ghana in the Labour Act, Act 651 allows maternity and very soon paternity leaves but countless excuses abound for mothers in both private and public enterprises with the later the greater culprit.
