The July HR (Cincinnati) Roundtable had a unique facet about it because it marked the beginning of the 20th year of me being the facilitator of the forum. Prescriptive analytics is supposedly the ultimate level you can reach in analytics. Using your data and analysis to prescribe (or suggest, or nudge) possible actions that will lead to the desired result. Of course, the opportunities for prescriptive analytics in the organisational domain are numerous.
As every busy HR professional knows, maintaining proper data can take a back seat to day to day admin tasks and various employee issues that may crop up. The flip side to that is when data is inaccurately processed, recorded, or analyzed, it impacts the accuracy of your KPIs.
Developing a recruitment budget can often be a challenging task for HR managers and recruiters. There are often set costs that are a must year after year, but other expenses might raise questions in terms of the cost-benefit.
